How it works
Close the gap between what you learn and what you build.
A discovery runs in four stages, for one fixed fee. Findings build from the first conversation, and it ends in a blueprint you own and a ranked first wave of builds.
01 · Explore
Scope the business before asking anyone anything.
We agree the scope with you and read the documents you already have: org charts, process maps, reports. Reccie plans who to hear from in each function, and sets out what the blueprint needs to cover.
What you have at the end: A discovery plan: who will be heard, and what the blueprint has to cover.

Hear everyone who does the work, on their own time.
Scout talks with each person on the channel they already use, and follows up over days or weeks. Lens maps every answer onto the blueprint as it arrives, and checks it against what everyone else said.
What you have at the end: A blueprint built from what everyone said, with coverage by function.

Propose builds only where the findings hold.
Arc turns findings into opportunities, and opportunities into proposed builds. A build is only proposed when at least two other people confirm the problem, or it shows up in more than one part of the process. Each one is ranked on impact and effort.
What you have at the end: A ranked first wave, every build traced to what your people said.

Hand over something you can build from.
You get the blueprint, the proposed builds, and your own read-only site with everything behind them. Ask Pulse a question and every answer cites its sources. For a proposed build, we can generate a proof of concept and a product brief.
What you have at the end: A blueprint you own, and a case your board can back.

Ask the evidence…
Demonstration discovery, Kestrel Freight Group (fictional). Illustrative.
Scout talks with everyone who does the work.
- In Teams, in a browser, by voice, text, phone or email, on their own time.
- One or two questions at a time, following their lead, not a script.
- People can share their screen or send files as they talk.
- No booked sessions. Scout follows up over days or weeks.
- Scout can join meetings to listen, and attendees are told it’s there.
- Scout is always clearly AI.
Walk me through the last late booking change.
I changed it in the TMS, rang the depot, then updated the carrier portal.
Roughly how long does that take, end to end?
Four agents, one discovery.
They work the same discovery at once, so analysis starts while people are still talking. All four are always clearly AI.
Scout
Talks with everyone who does the work.
Lens
Cross-references everything, and catches the contradictions.
Arc
Designs the builds, and ranks them.
Pulse
Answers questions about the evidence, citing its sources.
How findings are built.
“I re-key it into the depot system and the carrier portal.”
“Half my Monday is chasing which version the depot has.”
“Customers ring about a change we already made.”
Late booking changes are re-keyed into two systems by hand
Corroborated by 3 people
- Every finding is linked to where it came from.
- A person’s role, or a document. Never a name.
- Disputed findings are kept, not averaged away.
- A split between the leadership view and the floor is itself a finding.
- A build needs more than one voice.
- It’s only proposed when at least two other people confirm the problem, or it shows up in more than one part of the process.
- Corrections count for more.
- A correction outweighs what it corrects, and is checked with others in the same part of the process.
- No assumptions.
- Findings rest only on what was said or shown.
Then you choose who builds.
Your blueprint. Your choice of builder.
Any capable team can build from it, including 1QLabs, the team behind Reccie. After discovery, you can keep using Reccie as a subscription, whoever builds: Scout keeps talking with your people, so the blueprint stays current.
See what you getFrequently asked questions
How is a discovery priced?
One fixed fee for the discovery, scoped with you and agreed up front. Within that scope, more conversations don’t change the price, so there’s no billing reason to limit who is heard.
How long does a discovery run?
We set the timeline with you when we agree the scope. Analysis starts with the first conversation, not after everyone has been heard.
What does my team need to do?
Nominate who should be heard: everyone who does the work in the area you choose. Managers let their teams know it’s coming, and why. Then each person gets an invitation from Reccie, by email or in Teams, and Scout explains the purpose at the start of every conversation.
What is the smallest discovery that makes sense?
Roughly twenty or more people who do the work, in one function or across several. Below that, a few conversations of your own may serve you better, and we will say so.
